NEWS 31 - Special Description :

Kamoltham Wasboonma - ASSEAY Thailand webmaster - gave a special description in the topic "Basic for Website creation" for participating youths in the "Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Student and Youths" on Friday

   

 

 

 

New 32 - SIP's Art Contest :
-------------------------------

The Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program Alumni Association Phil., Inc., in coordination with the Cebu City Government, the Department of Social Welfare and Services, the Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines-Cebu City Chapter, with support by the National Bookstore and the SK Alumni - Cebu City Chapter, presented "ART CONTEST" among the out-of-school youth of Cebu City, with the theme "YOUR GARBAGE, OUR LIFE - SAVE MOTHER EARTH".

The ART CONTEST was held on April 29, 2008 from 8:00 - 12:00 up to 1:00 - 4:00. The venue of the contest is at Sinulog Hall Rizal Memorial Library & Museum Bldg., Osmena Blvd., Cebu City.  

   

New 33 - Special interview about SSEAYP 2008 :

Kamoltham Wasboonma - ASSEAY Thailand Vice President in Special affairs - gave a special live-interview about SSEAYP 2008 and  ASSEAY Thailand activities for Thai Radio station 92.5 MHz.  on Monday,5 May 2008 / 10.00-11.00 hrs.

   

 

 

 

 


 

News 34 - Need liaison staffs for the International Triathlon 2008 :
-------------------------------------------------------------
The Trat-Chanthaburi International Triathlon (TCIT) 2008 will be organized by the TV11 Thailand and cooperative agencies, including ASSEAY Thailand, in Chanthaburi and Trat provinces around the end of May 2008. There will be more than 500 foreigners applying for the game. The organizing committee need a lot of liaison staffs who good in English for communication and coordination.
All staffs will work in Chang island (Trat province) and Chanthaburi for 4 days with salary, accommodation and facility.

News 35 - To the enlightened way :

Non
- TPY'33 had his ordination ceremony on Sunday,11 May 2008 at the Kosittaram Buddhist temple, Singhburi province. He will be ordained until 1st June 2008. Many TPY'33 went to join his ceremony.

News 36 - Congratulations :
-------------------------------

Congratulations on their success of the 3 SSEAYP Ex-TPYs who are granted the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho : MEXT) Scholarship for 2008 under the Research Student programme to study at Japanese universities for 2 years beginning from April 2008 . They are Ms. Ketsanee Surinprateep, Mr. Krit Manator and Mr. Weeratouch Krasaechai.

Ms. Ketsanee is studying in the field of Law at Kyushu University, Mr. Krit will study Business Administration at Tohoku University, and Mr. Weeratouch  will study in the field of Quality and Process Control at Keio University. They left Thailand already on an early April, 2008.

News 38 - For Hopeful Children Project (FHCP) 2008 finished successfully :

More than 17 years that Fund For Friends (FFF) organized the For Hopeful Children Project for disable and unprivileged  children. In 2008 FFF and ASSEAY Thailand with concerned agencies both governmental and private sides organized the For Hopeful Children Project 2008 during 22-24 March 2008 in the Royal Thai Navy Marine camp "Mahasurasinghanart" , Rayong Province, TH.     The Phangma Hill

 

 

 

 

News 40 - Take Care of Phangma Hill Project :

Friendship For Peace (FFP), in coordination with ASSEAY Thailand, is looking for 35 volunteers for the “Take Care of Phangma Hill” Project to help preserve and promote the preservation of Phangma Hill, Wang Nam Keaw, Nakhon Ratchasima province, through various activities including creating natural fire protection line and building dams for irrigation.

Phangma Hill is bordered with the Khao Yai National Park. This hill has its shape similar to the horse’s mane. With the great help and cooperation from parties concerned, including government agency, businesses, and local communities, it has recovered from a completely destroyed area from agricultural malpractice, illegal use of land, and natural fires. It now becomes the best model of biodiversity restoration in Thailand.
