ASSEAY Administrative Board, leading by
Chai Nimakorn
[ASSEAY-1], hosted lunch for Dr. Surin
Pis-suwan at Je Ngor's Kitchen, Sathorn rd., Bangkok. and
talked about ASSEAY Thailand's role for the ASEAN. Dr. Surin was
elected to be the Secretary General of ASEAN. His new position
will be effective from 1 January 2008.

Monthly meeting :

ASSEAY
Thailand Administrative Board
held the monthly meeting on
Saturday, 15 September 2007 at Grandsport Group company,
Ramkamhaeng rd. , BKK. Included the routine activities, board
has considered and follow up the "120-40 Program" and SSEAYP
program in Thailand 2007 and the "YDND - Youth Development,
Nation Development project" in the early of 2008.

Asian Youth
Forum (AYF) 2007 :
-------------------------------------------------
Asian Youth Forum 2006 held in Batam, Indonesia was
attended by more than 100 participants from 15 countries
in the region and few participants from Europe and
Africa. It was a great success. Thanks to Indonesian
National Youth Council (Komite Nasional Pemuda
Indonesia) for hosting such a wonderful event. Now comes
Bejing! The beautiful capital of China which will host
the 2008 Olympics will be a venue for AYF 2007. For AYF

supporting the unprivileged and orphan
children affairs in the "Dhammanurak
foundation", Kanchanaburi.
Dhammanurak is an education centre and
home for orphans and socially disabled
